School’s out!!!
Well, not school, actually, as I’ve been teaching summer courses, but you get the idea… It’s summer holiday, and the busy teacher can do whatever she wants, whenever she wants. Sleeping till noon, staying up all night, it’s going to be wild!!!
Well, let’s get back to the wild part later… I mean, there’s so much I’ve been planning to do now that I have a bit more time. Now, let’s see…
I should finally sort out my wardrobe. Or at least put away the winter cashmere. And decluttering, I’ve been wanting to do that for ages. And now I can go to the gym every day if I want to. Or not… Maybe a couple of times a week? And I can finally start learning German: I could study for an hour or two every day. Or ten minutes. Isn’t that what I always say to my students: “a little bit every day is enough, and then it becomes a habit”, maybe I should take my own advice?
But I shouldn’t just withdraw from the world. Oh no, now that I have time I should reach out to other people, catch up with some friends. Maybe after they’re back from holiday. And social media, I could finally put some effort into it and figure out how it works. Or at least sort out my LinkedIn page. I’ve been meaning to do that for at least 4 years…
Or I could just catch up on some sleep. And watch some TV, I have a lot of catching up to do there, too. Yeah, I think I’ll start with that…

Ha ha! Yes…overplanning can take the fun right out of summer if you let it. Love that gingham skirt.bisousSuzanne
Maybe I should learn to relax… How does that work again?
Big cheer for this outfit. It looks so good on you. It is figure flattering and the mix of prints adds interest. Nicely finished with the necklace and gorgeous bag. Yes, big cheers from me. Have a lovely holiday Tiina, whatever you do.Greetje
Thanks, Greetje. I guess this outfit is a bit more sophisticated than what I've been wearing lately.
Ah Yes you are print mixing too! Wonderfull! Are you going to the UK this Summer?
I had to try print mixing because the skirt and the top have the exact same tone of mint green, I thought it would look good…Yes, I'll be spending some time in the UK, but not the whole summer (or the whole holiday).
I love your plans Tina, hope they all come to fruition. x Enjoy whatever you do though. x Jacquimummabstylish
Thanks, Jacqui. There are always lots of plans, and never enough time (or energy) for all them, that's the problem.
I wonder what you'll really do. Relax I say.
Me, too…Yes, Relaxing, that sounds like a good plan. How does that work exactly?
great necklace. The photo must have been taken in Finland. It's a dirt road like in many neighborhoods here in Alaska. You look awesome. Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style.
Thanks, Nicole. Yes, the photo was taken in Finland. Dirt roads are rather rare in big cities in Finland, but there are still a few in some suburban areas such as this one.
Love this color combination! You look lovely and that necklace is very prety and unique 🙂 We are planning a trip to Savvanah and staying in the Historic District, pool time. relaxation! Thanks for linking!jess xxwww.elegantlydressedandstylish.com
