The last Madeira post…
Yes, really. The last one, I promise… And this time we going all casual. But isn’t that what a holiday should be like: easy and relaxing, with an outfit to match.
And the outfit couldn’t be easier than this: a striped top and a denim skirt, with some statement accessories. Yes, it’s the same bag you’ve seen in all but one of the Madeira outfit posts…
And the shoes… I did have several pairs of shoes with me, but I ended up wearing this one all the time (except when we went to the mountains). What can I say? These shoes are comfortable, and perfect for sightseeing. Or when you just have to walk a lot. In other words, when travelling… No, that really is not the time to break in new shoes. With all the walking we did my feet were sore enough in the evening, even with good shoes…

How many pairs of shoes do you pack when you travel?

Cute outfit. And nothing beats comfort in shoes.
Thanks. I can't stand uncomfortable shoes.
You probably don t want to hear this, but you are very trendy in the denim skirt! It will be a great hit this spring! Haha, I know you don t like that!😂😂😂😂 But you look great dear!
Oh well, nothing wrong with being trendy… I usually aim for classic, but very now and then classic is also trendy, so no harm done I guess. Thanks!

Great fun look! I agree that good shoes are the secret to a good vacation. xox-Pattihttp://notdeadyetstyle.com
For me, it all depends on the time of year. I find that when traveling in warmer weather, I can usually get away with packing one or two types of shoes. A pair of comfy sandals that go with all and my chucks. In the winter, however, it's harder. I have to think about warmth and also comfort and also if I want to look nice going out. So I usually end up with a few more pairs.Ninaaworldofdresses.com
I think it makes sense to pack at least two pairs of shoes (even if you end up wearing just one), just in case. Funny, I actually find it's easier in winter. Maybe I just can't be bothered to dress up in winter…

Stripes and you denim skirt , always right, casual but with your own twist. Shoes, always a problem when travelling. I am deciding how many to take for my 3 weeks in Japan as I plan to travel as light as possible.Madeira looks very inviting, maybe it will go on my list.
Oh, Madeira is beautiful! But going to Japan sounds great, you must be so excited! I know I would be, I've always wanted to go there.
really comfy&cool outfit, I love your fab accessories, that bag is cute!besos
Thanks! Yes, the bag is fabulous, also very practical (= big enough for the camera) and goes with just about anything.
Lovely! I love how you picked up the color of the print in your top with your scarf. The bag is fab and absolutely casual dressing is a must when vacationing. Thanks for linking up with Turning heads tuesadayjess xxwww.elegantlydressedandstylish.com
