I tend to repeat myself…
At least as far as clothes are concerned, that is. When it comes to what I have to say, that’s different: I expect people to hear me the first time I say something. I’m quite impatient and get annoyed if I have to repeat myself. Except at work, of course. Then I’m patience personified. My husband has said on more than one occasion that if only I could be as nice and patient in my private life as I’m at work. I always reply that being the Good Teacher does not come naturally and therefore takes its toll, and he should just deal with it…
But back to clothes…
This is in fact almost the same outfit as the one I was wearing in Barcelona in June:
Yes, it’s the same maxidress, the same sandals, the same linen shirt (but instead of the pale orange, this time I’m wearing the blue one from my last post).
The blue shirt and the leopard print glasses give the outfit a bit more of an edge, picking up on the darker tones in the dress. Or maybe that’s just my rocker chick style personality coming through…
Outfit details:
dress: Boden / linen shirt: Marks and Spencer / bag: Adolfo Dominguez (old) /

With different accessories, the dress has a very different mood! I like both of your outfits, Tiina, the maxi dress is gorgeous on you. Where would we be if we never repeated our clothes? We're not paper dolls, after all. 🙂
Accessories and styling can really make a difference, right? I always look for versatility in both my clothes and accessories because I know I will wear them for a long time.
I get the feeling that there is a lot of humor between the two of you! That is the way to wear a maxi dress! You know that I was nog Happy with the way I styled mine and you gave me some tips! Very nice look!
Humour is what gets you through the ups and downs of life…
I love repeating (outfits, not requests of my husband : > ).And you look terrific in this maxi dress, times two. xoxPattihttp://notdeadyetstyle.com
Thanks, Patti. If it works, why change it, that's my motto.
You have such neat style! Hope you have a great week <3Blessings,Edye | http://gracefulcoffee.wordpress.com
Thank you, so sweet of you.
Your maxi dress is very pretty styled either way. I like the way a shirt tied at the waist looks over it. I'm going to try that with one of my dresses :)Theresa
Thanks, Theresa. I wear a shirt for sun protection as I burn easily, and tying it at the waist makes it a bit less bulky.
Ooooh it's a close run thing Tiina as to which I prefer but the soft tones of the first especially with the bag just pips the post! But I do also like the contrast of the blue shirt. And the leopard print glasses add some spice!I always like it when bloggers show different ways of wearing the same pieces even with small subtle changes. Not every blogger has an endless wardrobe or budget and personally I like wearing my clothes against to get maximum enjoyment from them!http://petitesilvervixen.blogspot.co.uk/
I agree, we need our clothes to play many parts and mix and match, depending on the mood we're in or the occasion.
Patience definitely is a virtue, lol (I'm not always that virtuous!). Great outfit, I love mixing my pieces are as well!Laurawww.blackcoffeebeautiful.com
Oh, patience is definitely not one of my virtues… Thanks, Laura!
I know what you mean, I lack patience in some ways, not in others. Love the colors with the lovely pattern. The blue linen and this peach tone look great on you! Thanks for linking up with Turning heads tuesdayjess xxwww.elegantlydressedandstylish.com
Thanks, Jessica!
Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. I love your wearing an umbrella for shadow.
I have several sun umbrellas, I find them very practical. This one is my favourite, the biggest. For travel I have a folding sun umbrella.
I think with blogging, there comes a feeling like we have to wear something new/different but in reality, clothes are meant to be worn repeatedly. I love seeing both ways you've worn this maxi, even if it's similar it feels a bit different.Thank you for being a part of TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you soon! Yes, I guess there are very few bloggers out there with and unlimited supply of new clothes… I think it's my 'job' as a blogger to show how the same clothes can be worn in many different ways.
I am actually pretty patient with my kids, as fast as anything….. Let's just say I'm still learning lol. I love to repurpose clothes! Love the denim tied top!!Thank you for linking up with Weekend Wear,xoMelissa
Well, life is one long lesson, in patience among other things…Thanks, I don't have huge wardrobe, so my clothes need to be versatile. Waste not, want not, right?
Thanks so much for linking up On the Edge of the Week! I hope to see you again this week.Shelbeewww.shelbeeontheedge.com
I think we all tend to be more patient at work as we know those that we love and love us back will tolerate us no matter what. Thanks for linking up to http://the-wardrobe-stylist.com/2016/08/14/back-to-school-essentials/
