How’s your December been?
Mine’s been busy. No, scratch that. The last few weeks have been over the top crazy busy, and my mind is on permanent overload. But the countdown to holiday has started…
So, about the outfit… Yes, I got these wide-legged pinstripe trousers on an impulse. I do that sometimes. Impulse shop, I mean. I don’t really know what to do with them, though, but I’ll figure it out. Not now, but later, when my mind will have recovered from this crazy-busy-before-Christmas-rush. That is, if my brain doesn’t implode first…
Whatever.
Right now there’s no space in my overloaded brain for a single creative thought (there’s barely space for an intelligent thought…), so I just paired the trousers with a cashmere jumper for a festive dinner in a restaurant. For me, this passes for party wear when it’s cold.
Actually, it wasn’t really cold when these photos were taken. Well, it depends on your definition of cold, of course. In my book, just-above-freezing is rather mild winter weather. But it’s definitely cashmere sort of weather.
Outfit details:
Cashmere jumper: Brora (old) / trousers: Monki / bag: Chanel /
boots: Nero Giardini / sunglasses: Dolce and Gabbana
How would you style these pinstripe trousers?

Ooh, I love these trousers (or, as we say, pants). They could be the foundation for many outfits.
Thanks, Ally. Well, I guess I have a styling challenge ahead of me…
I do like your pin stripe pants , you will find them so useful and will work with so many colours.Hope things settle soon. I always laugh when you describe just above freezing as not really cold-that's our Winter .
Thanks, Jill. I always find it difficult to match black with colour, so it's going to be a bit of a challenge.Oh yes, winter weather… Well, the coldest part of winter is still ahead, stay tuned…
