Is it possible to overdose on stripes?
Well, this post certainly tests your tolerance as far as stripes are concerned. It may also prove that my stripe addiction has gone a tad too far…
But you know how it is: sometimes you just can’t help it. Like with chocolate: you keep eating and eating for as long as there’s something left in the box because, well, it’s there, you know, and… No? You mean that’s just me? Oh blimey…
Anyway, it was a rainy Saturday in Helsinki… The perfect weather for my new red parka. Did I mention the lining has stripes?
Then I remembered I had this navy and white stripy umbrella, which would look just fantastic with red. Of course, I also have quite a collection of navy and white Breton tops, which would also look great with the red parka. And then the whole idea sort of got out of hand…
coat: Seasalt Cornwall / top: Jigsaw / jeans: Next / bag: Adolfo Dominguez
umbrella: J.Crew / shoes: Clarks / scarf: Marja Kurki
So, mixing stripes, yes or no?

I think that umbrella is custom made for you!lol!
That's exactly what I thought when I saw it, so of course I had to get it.
I love all the stripes! There is no such thing as too many stripes or too much chocolate. In fact, I ate the whole top tier of a box of chocolates last night and I have no guilt either. It was delicious and so is your super stripey outfit!Shelbeewww.shelbeeontheedge.com
Only one tier? Oh my, you show enviable restraint… I once ate a whole box of chocolate in 15 minutes… I'm a bit scared to think what that says about me…
Whoa! I think we need to stage an intervention and coax you into joining SA (Stripers Anonymous).
Yep, let's add SA to the list… I should probably also join Chocoholics Anonymous and Obsessive Cat Video Watchers…
Well if you ask you cannot overdo it with stripes but I am biased since I love stripes. I love the scarf, the umbrella and your new parka. Red is after all my favorite color and red looks great with blue and white. And OMG Helsinki, that is one great city!A brand-new linkup is up on my blog today and I would love for you to join me this Thursday and every Thursday and share your awesome style. Thanks, Ada. Yes, you can't go wrong with stripes. And yes, Helsinki is a great city, even though I am a bit biased, after over 30 years of living here…
It's a fiesta of Spring stripes, Tiina and I love it! The more stripes the merrier, I say.Although I think you've erred on the side of caution – I was hoping for striped shoes and bag…http://petitesilvervixen.blogspot.co.uk/
OMG!! I don't have a stripy bag! Or shoes! You know what you are, Jacqueline, you dangerous woman? You put ideas in my head!
