Déjà Vu…

wrap dress

Yes, I know… you’ve seen the coat before (more than once), you’ve even seen it together with this dress

Well, like most women I have limited funds and closet space, and have to find ways to wear the same old clothes again and again. And why not, especially if I like the clothes in question. I might change the accessories, but I don’t go out of my way to think of new ways to style an old dress. Real life makes so many demands on our time and energy that sometimes we just go with the same old plan, just to free up some brain power for more pressing tasks.

To be honest, my plan here was to just show you the dress a little better, as the previous post with this particular combo focused more on the coat. But it was so cold and windy when we took these pictures that I really, really wanted to wrap something around my shoulders…

I am wearing:

dress: Boden (old) / coat: reiss (old) / sunglasses : Tom Ford (old) /

Thank you Adriele. I'm a bit of a minimalist at heart, and I try not to accumulate too much stuff. But I find it quite challenging (but rewarding) to try and have a wardrobe consisting of only pieces that I love and wear, instead of buying new things all the time.

If the pairing has proven to work, why not wear it multiple times? After all, we are no Posh Spice to not repeat our clothing. I wear whatever works, as long as I don't wear it twice to the same place with the same host and people, I'm fine! 😉 The dress is gorgeous and the cut is so flattering. Definitely a keeper

Thanks! I think I've worn this dress to work quite a bit: I totally lack creativity early in the morning, and this is so easy to just put on when you're half-asleep, then just add a necklace or a scarf.

The best pieces we have are those with versatility and evergreen appeal, and your wrap dress clearly falls into that category. Those colours together are so fresh, so lovely. YOU look lovely 🙂

Thank you so much. I don't believe in throw-away fashion; longevity and versatility are the determining factors when I buy new clothes. In the long-run it makes life easier.

I love your wrap dress. It's so flattering and the colours are perfect for the Spring. Most of my posts are made up of recycled clothes so you're not alone.

Thanks. Blogging certainly makes us use our creativity and come up with new outfits using the same old clothes, again and again…

Thanks! I agree, wrap dresses always look great, and you can wear them to work or dress them up for going out.
