November in Finland

I’m a taking a little break from the blog

Because the moving day is finally here! Well, not today, but next week. Which means that I’m busy packing, cleaning, and unpacking for the next couple of weeks.

I also look forward to decorating the new flat, even though I’m aware that it’s going to be an enormous task. And of course I will share some pictures with you later…

In the meantime, enjoy this photo of November sunset in the forest:

I’ll see you in December!

Just take it one day and one step at a time. When we moved to Germany when our son was a baby, then several years later when he was older, it seemed overwhelming at first. I spoke to my mom who moved our family all over and this was her advice. It helped me then and now on a daily basis when I simply feel overwhelmed. My prayers are with you!

Thank you! It certainly can be overwhelming, so that is good advice.

Looking forward to see your new flat.
It’s amazing how many small tasks a moving involves, and it really takes a lot of time and energy (almost all of them!). Wish you luck!

Oh yes! There is so much to do. And it doesn’t end when you get all the stuff in the new place; that’s a whole new project starting then…
