Athleisure and Cold Weather

athleisure and cold weather

Well, hello again, long time no see…

I just popped in to say I’m still here, I just haven’t been inspired to blog recently. And yes, I’m still on sick leave, and recovering. And no, I still don’t want to talk about it. Mainly because this blog is my escape from anything bad or dull or boring, and I want to keep it that way.

However, I would like to thank you all for the lovely comments on my previous post, a few months ago. l appreciate your kind words and empathy, much more than I can say.

In the meantime, It’s getting cold here now. Well, given that December is just around the corner, it shouldn’t be a surprise…

It is actually snowing now, while I’m writing this. So far it’s just a thin layer of powder snow that may or may not last, but I think it’s safe to say winter is here, and it will stay here for the next few months.

And it’s getting cold, too. Yes, time to dig out those warm coats and cashmere sweaters again…

It was well below freezing yesterday when these photos were taken, and my cheeks were getting cold because of the wind (oh, the joys of living by the sea!). I know we’re all probably tired of wearing face masks by now (I know I am), but yesterday I felt I might start wearing them outdoors, too, just to keep my face from freezing…

Glad to see your face! Love the pictures: you look warm and cozy even if your cheeks were cold! Hope you continue to get well! I just shared an athleisure look too but for our temperate weather.

Always a pleasure to see a post from you. Love your outfit! I have always felt such a strong kinship with you, so many similarities in our tastes, outlook, etc…..I understand the feelings you’ve expressed here because it is the approach I would be taking myself. Take care of yourself and enjoy the holiday season. Till next time….

I love the blue jacket and pants together with the little touches of red and pink with your accessories! It looks so cosy for winter!

I kinda liked that we had mask rules in winter for a while even while outdoors as it does keep your face warm on a cold day, haha! Glad they are no longer mandatory here now though.

Thanks for joining the #WeekdayWearLinkup! Hope you had a good weekend! We had a busy but fun one, with a big Christmas night out at a theme park and a couple other events.

Glad to see you are here in your blog again. And with such a lovely outfit. Was I looking forward of wearing winter clothes, no, not really. But this sudden drop in temperatures to degrees more fit for Siberia gave no me choice. I try to enjoy the positive side of the weather: as we are back to remote working mode, I can go out for walks when the sun is shining. -q
