Summer is the perfect time to let your boho side out.
If you have one, that is. I don’t. I can’t stand all the layers and dangly jewellery (which looks very nice on other people but would drive me crazy). Wild prints, on the other hand, can be very nice. In moderation. And with clothes that are a bit more streamlined. Again, I love to see other people wear gypsy skirts and peasant tops and clashing patterns and tons of necklaces, but it’s not for me. I can’t stand wearing anything that looks ‘messy’. I always say it’s because I already have a messy hair and I need to balance that with something a bit more minimalistic and structured.
So, what this rather lengthy introduction is trying to say is that this is about as boho as I get. The boho element here being the loose trousers (seen before HERE and HERE), of course.
And the more minimalistic, structured elements, then? Well, the bag and sunglassses, of course.
And the loose, sloppy, linen shirt? Give me a break, it’s was a damn hot day. One of those days when I can’t stand any fabric touching my skin and keep fantasising about sleeping in the fridge…

Thanks, Bettye!
I am a bit like you on the subject of boho , love it on others but find it not really me (probably because I was a 1970s hippy dippy girl). Your take on it is very you , comfortable but stylish. That bag is just great.
Thanks, Jill. I guess a little bit of boho goes a long way, in this case.
Perfect for summer heat. xJacquiwww.mummbstylish.com
Thanks, Jacqui.
Boho is one of my favourites – fun and feminine, although I know what you mean, it can look "messy". Love those pants!❤️carmenhttps://fashionableover50.wordpress.com
Thanks! Oh yes, Boho is fun for summer, but sometimes a little bit is enough (for me, anyway).
Boho is a bit of a fine line between looking casually undone and looking just plain sloppy. This looks cool and relaxed. bisousSuzanne
Absolutely! That's a really good definition of Boho, actually. Thanks, Suzanne.
Cool look. These sunnies are interesting. Thanks for joining the Ageless Style Linkup party.
Thanks, Nicole. This is my (current) favourite pair of sunnies, and I seem to be wearing it all the time…
