Would you let your husband style you?
I did, and you’re looking at the results. Yep, hubby had total control over every aspect of this outfit, the photo shoot and the choice of setting. I did the photo editing, though, as always.
His task was to style a casual outfit,
suitable for a walk in the neighbourhood. He was eager to take on the challenge and started sorting through my wardrobe. He was convinced that contrary to my complaints that ‘I have nothing to wear’, there would be plenty of choice and it should be no problem to put together an interesting outfit.
Half an hour later he was still not ready to admit that I have nothing to wear, but he was starting to show some frustration… But he soldiered on, even though choosing a bag proved to be a bit challenging…
I’m wearing:
top: Gap / cardigan: Club Monaco (old) / trousers: Pure / shoes: Gabor /
bag: Minna Parikka (old) / sunglasses: Cutler and Gross
So, what do you think, did he do a good job?

The professor did well! You've given me an idea, but I can't commit to wearing what Sandy might pick for me : >
Oh, it might be interesting to see what he'd pick!
Well done Professor M! I dread to think what TallBrownFox would come up with. He's the least visual person I know! You were brave in letting the Professor style you. Great choice with the bag!
Oh, I'm not brave… My hubby has great taste, and he knows what I like, too.
Ha ha! I want to try this with my husband : ) It might be NSFW in the end though…let alone for my blog! LOLbisousSuzanne
Come on Suzanne, give him a chance!
Having had the pleasure of meeting Professor M makes this post all the more delightful! His choice of styling is well done indeed! Now…as he has chosen clothing and accessories from your current wardrobe, we can assume they are items that you already know and, hopefully, love. But, I can totally see his personality coming through with his selection. I can see that he is drawn to the softer, and more feminine definition of Tiina.
I suppose he likes to see me in bright colour. But he tells me that he also likes the edgier stuff on me…
I think he did a darned good job. You should ask him again. The bag is a nice touch, tying the cherrish colours together and adding another interesting colour. The white of the ballerinas are in the buttons. Well done professor.GreetjePS my husband is much better in styling than I am.
He'll be very pleased to see your comment. Yes, he's very good at styling, and he has quite an extensive wardrobe, too…
He did such a nice job. So pink and feminine. I'm afraid my husband would put me in khakis and a polo shirt just like his!
Thanks, Connie! My hubby likes to see me in bright colour and a nice dress, and he has great taste, too.
The Professor did a great job! I love all of the pink! Such a cute, casual look!JillDoused In Pink
Thanks, Jill! well, I think he likes to see me in pink, too.
Your husband dressed you well! I'm impressed, especially with his use of colour. Love the detail on your top. You look lovely.
Thanks! Well, he likes colour, has good taste, and he knows me. I trust him completely.
What a good idea! My husband has better taste than I do, I think. Yours did well!
Thank you, I think he did well, too.
He did a great job!! My hubby is afraid to go into the spare bedroom where my closet is – there's too much going on.Thank you for joining TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you next week. Have a great weekend!Alicewww.happpinessatmidlife.com
Thanks, Alice! Well I have a rather small and streamlined wardrobe, and only half of it available (the other half in our second home) in one place…
